    Drama Recommendation Empty Drama Recommendation

    Post by Ya-Sha Tue Aug 28, 2012 3:01 pm

I love Asian Drama (TW, JPN, KR). And I'm looking for more dramas to watch on my spare time. Please recommend some for me!

I want some rom-com drama that can make me laughing happily. I don't like tragic drama like Endless Love (Autumn Love Story), Sad Love Song, or Stairway to Heaven. More importantly, the male lead should be handsome!! drunken

    Some dramas I've watched :
Hana Yori Dango (both 3 versions)
Momo's Love (not really good, though)
    Office Girl
    Drunken to Love You
    Fated to Love You
    Gokusen
Lie To Me (not really good)
    Coffee Prince (awesome)

I watched several TW drama, and the most recent one is Sweet Relationship. The main lead is Vic Zhou and Patty Hou. It's based on shoujo manga Oishii Kankei. It's quite nice and funny.

I also want to recommend you Happy Series, it's consists of 3 dramas.
The first installment is Happy and Love Forever (Ming Dao & Annie Chen).
The second installment is Sunny Happiness (Mike He and Janice Chang).
And the last one is Happy Michelin Kitchen (Blue Lan & Cheryl Yang).

I've watched the first two installment and it's really a good drama. The story itself isn't typical and the main characters are all likeable. I haven't watched the third one, mostly because I don't really like either Cheryl Yang or Blue Lan. But, after watching the first two dramas, I might want to try it too.. And there is a bonus cameo of the previous main lead on each drama..

I watched Sweet Relationship too. It's quite a nice drama.

I would like to recommend Tamra The Island (based on manhwa Shipwrecked, main lead Seo Woo & Im Joo Hwan) and My Girl (main lead Lee Doong Wook & Lee Dae Hee).
Both are hilarious and sweet drama...

I've watched Sweet Relationship years ago. And actually, I'm a fan of Vic Zhou...
I also have watched half of Shipwrecked in TV. It's quite hilarious. And currently, I'm looking for the DVD.

Queen In Hyun's man is definitely wonderful. It made me cry and laugh at the same time. Great love story no the typical love rectangle or Cinderella story that I found in a lot of K-drama

I watched a lot of Asian dramas, but I forget the title of most of them.

Try watching "My Girlfriend is a Gumiho". It is a good one. Smile

You should try my favorite Korean drama.
Time Between Dog and Wolf. It's great drama with a lot of action.
Not the typical story but is really great.

    Is Jin good?
I kinda wanted to watch it, because of the manga

    quote from jdorama
The story follows a brain surgeon named Minakata Jin, who falls into a "time slip" that sends him back to Edo during the Bakumatsu era, the period that spelled the end of the shoguns' rule over Japan. There, Jin ends up using his 21st-century medical expertise to help the people, who are suffering from various epidemic illnesses from the time, with the help of the modern medical knowledge of his era.

Pretty much not my cup of coffee. I've finished watching this one months ago. I think the manga is a lot better than the drama.

Yeah, I'm really disappointed with the drama.
The drama try to make a great conflict but with lack of strong scenario.
So, everything is absurd for me...
