Buying a Phone Empty Buying a Phone

Nowadays, plenty of smartphones are being released in the market. Each one has a new feature to boast of, although some are just trickle down of their higher end siblings.

What do you consider in buying a new phone? (Given that you don't have budget restrictions)
Will you always buy the newest model from your favorite manufacturer?

    This is my list:
    1. Basic call and text messaging functions.
    2. Decent camera with flash.
    3. WiFi

That is all. So even if there's a lot of new phones with better features coming out, as long as my old phone is working properly, I will not buy a new one.

I'm not too picky when buying a phone. The phone I have now has been with me in this last 3 years. All I need are :
    1. Basic phone functions (text messages & phone call).
    2. Camera (I rarely use it but sometimes it is needed).
    3. Internet (I need it to check on my e-mail regularly).

I'm using smart phone, but I rarely use the application inside.
I only use my phone for:
    1. SMS and phone call.
    2. Playing games (offline)
I'm not using any other application than those two. I have chat system installed on my phone but I never use it. I hate it whenever it ring every 2 seconds because of the chat..
My friend told me I have a great phone but the only way to contact me is via SMS. I'm rarely picking phone too (my phone is always on silent mode).

Nokia 3310 is also my first phone. I used it for 4 years until it suddenly died and can't be fixed anymore. Lol:

Now, my phone is Sony Ericsson W205. I've been using it for 2 years and it sill work well. When I bought this phone it's quite cheap and didn't have many features. I just used standard phone application like messages and calls.

Nokia was the most popular phone around end of 1990s and mid 2000. But now, there are too many new phone like iPhone and Samsung Galaxy. For me, the most important thing that I need to consider when buying a smart phone is internet application. I need it for my work to go online, checking email, etc. Other than that, basic function like games, it will help me in my boring day.

Normally I don't really care the phone function
Since I only use them for calling and sms
But My sis kept bugging me to use blackberry and kept on telling me to buy a phone with instant messaging function.
Phone Price effect my decision a lot.

Just 2 months ago I need to buy a new mobile phone
I had to put instant messaging as top priority or my sis will lecturing me
In the end I bought HTC sensation XL
